I am a licensed attorney in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Michigan. I have a general civil practice headquartered in Indiana County, but I also handle cases in Pennsylvania in Allegheny, Armstrong, Cambria, Clearfield, Jefferson and Westmoreland Counties. For most cases there is no charge for an initial one half hour consultation. All fee agreements are clearly explained and in writing. Regular office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30-12:00, 1:00-5:00. Civil Trials: I have been board certified as a civil trial attorney, by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, since 1996; I have jury trial experience in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Michigan. I am experienced with personal injury cases involving motor vehicle collisions, product failures and defective designs, slip and falls, and defamation (libel or slander). I also have trial experience with cases involving will contests, boundary line disputes, gas rights/disputes, civil rights and employment discrimination, disputes with contractors, and adversary actions in bankruptcy cases. Bankruptcy: Since 1979 I have handled personal and business bankruptcies. I am experienced with cases under Chapter 7 (regular bankruptcy), Chapter 11 (business reorganization), and Chapter 13 (personal debt and small business reorganizations). Consumer Law: I am experienced in fighting mortgage foreclosures, unfair debt collection practices, and returning recently purchased defective motor vehicles. Family Law: My more than twenty years of experience handling family law matters in three states includes contested cases like: divorce; custody, support and paternity actions. It also includes non-contested matters such as drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, “living wills”, adoptions, and real estate closings.
